Environmental compensation was the project’s executive obligation to be implemented. This was according to government policies both central and regional to achieve sustainable development. This research aimed to analyze the implementation of the environmental compensation on Andi Pangeran Pettarani Makassar highway construction. This research was conducted at the location of Andi Pangeran Pettarani highway construction project, which was located in Makassar. The key informants were the project’s executive, as well as the community who were the complementary informants. This research used qualitative approach, focused on the implementation of environmental compensation of Andi Pangeran Pettarani highway construction. As for the research design, the researcher used Case Study Research Design. The result of the research showed that the implementation of environmental compensation of Andi Pangeran Pettarani highway construction had been running optimally. Furthermore, (1) The availability of time was already established by terms and resources commitment from PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara that had budgeted 1.5 billion for the provision of new Green Open Space (Ruang Hijau Terbuka) and PT Nusantara Infrastruktur (NI) that had  planted 2000 trees collaborated with the Ward Service of Makassar. (2) The implemented policies based on provisions of act 26 in 2007 about space governance, The Minister of Public Works Reguation Number 5 on 2008 and The Makassar Mayor’s rules number 69 in 2016 about User License (3) The comprehension and agreement only occurs between the project executive and the Makassar’s government, but there was no agreement involving the community. It could be seen that there was no public consultation and the rise of complaints from environmental observers. Keywords: Implementation; Compensation; Green Open Spac

The Innovation Structuring of street vendors In Maros regency (supervised by Deddy T. Tikson and Hasniati). This study aims to analyze the results of innovation structuring of street vendors in Maros Regency based on the criteria of the United Nations (UN). This research was conducted in Culinary Area of No Wave Beach of Maros Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a focus on innovation results from the arrangement of street vendors in Maros regency. There is also a research design used is case study (case study). The result of the research shows that the innovation of street vendors in Maros Regency based on criterion of United Nations (UN) is less successful. This was because of the 6 indicators, 1 indicator that partnership is not met because there was no professional cooperation either government, private or banking. 4 less effective indicators that sustainability was not working well because there was no special regulation governing culinary areas, innovation indicators in local and transferable contexts did not provide specific publications related to secondary data as well as special information related to street vendors in the area of culinary beaches and non- other areas were still difficult to adopt the concept in applied. Indicators of gender equality and social exclusion because they had not demonstrated traditional special food and local wisdom in the arrangement of street hawkers, although gender and local wisdom were not contradictory and indicators of leadership and community empowerment due to governor commitment were not accompanied by clear policies and lack of merchant empowerment concepts a clear five foot post relocation. The indicators that become the strength of this innovation was the impact. Impact indicators provide benefits for both street vendors, government and the environment.

Information systems are used by organizations to help the organization's operations become more efficient in their role as a tool to win the competition. Data processing has become an important part of the Management Information System that will affect every organization's activities. Universitas Hasanuddin's management information system has developed an online information system through the website, namely the Learning Management System. The Universitas Hasanuddin Learning Management System is prepared to support and expedite the learning process. However, the current learning management system has not been understood by lecturers and students due to poorly understood features, slow system access, and a lack of socialization of the use of the learning management system at the department or study program level, so that it does not encourage lecturers and students to use it more often. Learning Management System. This study aims to determine how the system's quality significantly affects the intensity of use. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses a survey approach in this study. The respondents in this study were adjusted for lecturers with a sample of 100 people and students with a sample of 100 people. Data collection techniques included Questionnaires and Document Studies. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling will be processed using AMOS software version 24.00. This study found that the effect of system quality on the intensity of use resulted in a cr value of 0.328 < 1.96 and a p-value of 0.74 > 0.05, so there was no significant effect of system quality on the intensity of use. This answers the hypothesis in the study. Namely, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted

City Revenue Optimization: Analysis of Parking Fee Revenue Supervision in Makassar City

This study examines the supervision mechanisms of parking fee revenue management in Makassar City, focusing on the efficacy of the comparison stage in the supervision process. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research concentrates on Regional Parking Company Makassar Raya, the local city council, and the revenue agency, exploring their roles in managing and supervising parking services to optimize local revenue. The study reveals that despite an increase in vehicle volume, revenue targets set by the Regional Parking Company Makassar Raya over the last five years have not been met, largely due to external factors like climate and the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the inefficacy of an e-parking system hindered by community resistance and technological challenges. The findings underscore the necessity of a responsive and adaptable supervision system that can address dynamic changes in urban conditions and community behaviors. The research advocates for enhanced public awareness, improved technology infrastructure, and collaborative governance to bolster the e-parking system's efficiency, aiming to enhance urban life quality and financial sustainability in Makassar City

A Review on the Design and Performance of Enzyme-Aided Catalysis of Carbon Dioxide in Membrane, Electrochemical Cell and Photocatalytic Reactors

    No full text
Multi-enzyme cascade catalysis involved three types of dehydrogenase enzymes, namely, formate dehydrogenase (FDH), formaldehyde dehydrogenase (FaldDH), alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH), and an equimolar electron donor, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), assisting the reaction is an interesting pathway to reduce thermodynamically stable molecules of CO2 from the atmosphere. The biocatalytic sequence is interesting because it operates under mild reaction conditions (low temperature and pressure) and all the enzymes are highly selective, which allows the reaction to produce three basic chemicals (formic acid, formaldehyde, and methanol) in just one pot. There are various challenges, however, in applying the enzymatic conversion of CO2, namely, to obtain high productivity, increase reusability of the enzymes and cofactors, and to design a simple, facile, and efficient reactor setup that will sustain the multi-enzymatic cascade catalysis. This review reports on enzyme-aided reactor systems that support the reduction of CO2 to methanol. Such systems include enzyme membrane reactors, electrochemical cells, and photocatalytic reactor systems. Existing reactor setups are described, product yields and biocatalytic productivities are evaluated, and effective enzyme immobilization methods are discussed
